What if I have registered and I need to cancel?
In the event you need to cancel your registration to Epicenter 09, please contact us at 866.944.NYLC(6952). Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to March 30, 2009 will be a fully refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee. Registrations cancelled with 30 days of March 30, 2009 are 100% non-refundable. However, registrations may be transferred into another person’s name. Hotel reservations are subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy. Please contact the hotel directly for information on their specific policies.If I can’t make it, is my paid for registration transferable?
Yes. If you have registered and find that you can not attend, you may transfer the name on your registration to another participant at no additional charge. To do this, please call our registration offices directly at 866.944.NYLC (6952), or you may e-mail our registration coordinator, Julianna Ammons, at registration@NYLC09.com. Registration transfers must be made prior to the opening day of the event.What if my church or I prefer to pay with check rather than credit card?
If you prefer to pay by check or would prefer not to register online, you can contact our registration and information offices toll free at 866.944.NYLC (6952).What if I have already registered and want to register additional members of my team; will I receive a group rate?
Yes. Though we can not refund any portion of the registration fees of the already registered members of your team, we will extend a group rate to your additional team members in accordance to your registration quantity tier and the date you register. For example, if you register 4 people at the 1-4 registration rate, then at a later date you decide to add 2 additional team members to your registration, you will not receive a retroactive discount on your 4 previous registrations. However, you will receive the 5-9 registrant group rate on the additional 2 individuals you are registering. How far from the Airport is the location of NYLC – Epicenter 09?
The host location of Epicenter 09 is approximately 30 minutes from DFW international airport. Traffic in Dallas can be unpredictable, so this time may vary depending on your time of travel.Why should I stay at an NYLC recommended hotel?
Our team flew out to the Dallas / Cedar Hill area and personally met with and interviewed the general managers at over a dozen local area hotels. During our visit, we toured the facilities, negotiated the best amenities and contracted the lowest possible rates, which are even lower than any website search engine. Many of the hotel rooms are set up to accommodate 1-6 people per room at one flat rate. You can even book your hotel online. IMPORTANT NOTE: There are other local hotels that may offer slightly lower rates; however, though we can not disclose the names of those properties, many of those properties had problems with housekeeping, cleanliness and other important issues. If they are not on our list, we can’t recommend them. Space is limited at our NYLC recommended properties, so book your rooms today before they sell out!At the time of the event, where is check-in for the conference located and when does it begin?
Check-In will be located in the main lobby of Trinity Church, the host venue of Epicenter 09. Trinity Church is located at 1231 E Pleasant Run Road // Cedar Hill, TX // 75104. Registration will begin at 12 Noon and end at 6:00 PM on Monday March 30, 2009. The exhibitor area will be open and available to all checked-in registrants at 4:00 PM. Registrants should check-in for Epicenter 09 once they arrive in town. HELPFUL TIP: Lines for check-in will be longer later in the afternoon. In times past, registrants come early to check-in and then head to their hotels to get settled in prior to the opening General Session that evening.What does my registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes admission to Epicenter 09’, including 8 general sessions, your choice of 2 super sessions and 2 breakout sessions. Food, travel, lodging and ground transportation costs are not included in the registration fee. Parking at the Epicenter venue is free.Are there shuttle services available to and from NYLC and my hotel?
Epicenter 09 will not be providing shuttle services to and from your hotel and the conference. However, many of the hotels we have recommended on our website offer shuttle service to and from the airport and even have rental car services available on hotel property. Want to carpool with another NYLC registrant? Please visit the “Travel Helper” portion of NYLC09.COM where we have setup a “carpool blog.” Post a “carpool wanted ad” and respond to other “carpool wanted ads” to find someone to split ground transportation costs with. It’s a great way to save money and connect with other youth ministry friends.Where can I eat during the conference?
Chik-fil-A will be on-site during lunch, selling complete box lunches during each lunch break at Epicenter. An area will be made available for you to sit back, relax, enjoy a Chik-fil-A lunch and browse the exhibitor booths. You can also choose from over 30 popular eating establishments as well as a new indoor & outdoor mall, all of which are located less than 2 miles from the Epicenter 09 venue. No food will be served onsite during the dinner hours. However, we encourage you to use the two and a half hour dinner break to relax at your hotel or venture out to the local mall or nearby eating establishments, many offering special NYLC discounted prices for Epicenter registrants.If I am bringing a team, does our entire team need to be present at check-in?
No. Only the main name that your team’s registration is under needs to be present at the time of check-in. At that point, he/she can pick up their entire team’s name badges, registration bags and conference incentives.If I have any other questions, who can I contact?
